Easy chocolate molten cakes

Ingredients:


  • 100g butter plus extra to grease
  • 100g dark chocolate chopped
  • 150g light brown soft sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 50g plain flour
  • single cream, to serve

Method:

  1. In a heatproof bowl take 100 grams of butter and 100 grams of chopped dark chocolate and set on a hot water pan (or alternatively put it in the microwave) and stir until it is smooth. Set aside to cool slightly for 15 minutes.
  2. Now pour the chocolates in an ice making mold and keep it in the deep freezer until they solidify.
  3. With the help of an electric beater, mix 150 grams of sugar, 3 large eggs, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and finally 50 grams of plain flour. Put butter or oil in a small oven proof bowl and fill the bowl 1/2 part with the mixture. Then take 1 chocolate cube in the mixture and dip it in it with your fingers.
  4. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree C for 10-15 minutes.
  5. When the cakes are ready, carefully roll out the cakes with a knife around the edges of the bowl, then serve these with cream.
